CTD data were collected during a Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center's Cetacean Research Program's shipboard cetacean survey (Cruise ID: SE 10-08). During legs 1 and 2 aboard NOAA Ship Oscar Elton Sette CTD casts were conducted before sunrise and after sunset each day. The terminal depth of all casts was 1000 m.
