This dataset contains water carbonate chemistry information and other parameters from CTD casts and corresponding water column samples collected in the Phoenix Islands Protected Area. Data including depth, temperature, oxygen concentration, and salinity were measured in situ. Data including total alkalinity, depth-corrected pH, pCO2, HCO3, CO3, CO2, and Ω aragonite saturation were calculated using laboratory techniques. This water chemistry data are especially important for the habitat and survival of calcium carbonate-forming organisms. Data were submitted in XLSX format and converted to CSV format.
